Our History

 
 

For over 15 years we have used light to transform dull spaces into romantic venues setting the  mood for evenings of elegance. We understand that when you decide to host an event, whether a milestone birthday celebration, an extravagant wedding or a gathering of friends it is an outward expression of love. We provide beautiful lights to illuminate any venue offering a simple touch of glamour with ease. Lights to Love draws from its expert design team to create the perfect blend of lighting, texture and color for every occasion.

Our Customized Approach

While Lights to Love offers such a wide range of lighting options you won’t have to do this alone. We offer a full service approach to save you time, reduces stress and provide spectacular lighting options at affordable prices. As a Lights to Love client we navigate you through a streamlined process in order to gain clarity of your vision & ensure all goes well for your event.

  • Plan

    • We seek to understand your unique decór design and the entertainment type that will be performing at your event

    • Explore lighting options through our artistic process,

    • We conduct site visits to provide customized lighting design

    • Development of a software generated floor plan of lighting installation to assist the event planner and critical vendors

  • Prepare

    • Advanced programming of lighting to allow for any adjustments to color if necessary.

    • We are able to program our high tech lights to reflect a single color or multiple colors as well as customize the programming according to the design desired by the client.  

    • In addition, we review the production checklist to ensure that we have all necessary tools needed for set-up and all equipment is properly packaged and loaded the night prior to your event.

  • Set Up

    • We arrive at least one hour before the event to off-load and safely install equipment. Set up generally takes 1-hour.

    • Upon arrival, we will notify the event planner and proceed with safely setting up the lighting design.

    • Once the lighting has been installed, we will test the lights to ensure they’re working properly.  

    • Final check-in with the event planner will ensure that all is well and confirm the event end time.  

    • During the event Lights of Love is just a phone call away.

  • Breakdown

    • Lights to Love will arrive on-site at least 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to end.  Once most of the guests have left the premises we will begin to remove the lights. Breakdown generally takes 1-hour)

    • We complete a walk-through to ensure that all of the equipment has been accounted for and no problems occurred during the event. 

    • Within one week, the client will receive a thank you note and will have an opportunity to provide feedback on our service.

  • We have curated a special guide to assist you in estimating the number of lights you may need to transform your atmosphere and create a lasting impact for your special occasion.

    Recommended Uplighting Guide: 

    Up to 50 guests – 8 uplights

    Up to 75 guests – 10 to 12 uplights

    Up to 150 guests – 14 to 16 uplights

    Up to 200 guests – 20 to 25 uplights

    Providing you with the best equipment our uplights range from soft & natural romantic lighting to intense output lighting enough to kick start any party. These battery operated, covered lights are safe to use and contain a vast amount of features to choose from.

  • Offering a ton of light, those battery operated lights shine in red, green, blue, white, ultra violet and can be color mixed. These fully programmable lights include a sound activated mode, custom color mixing, 31 built-in programs, auto mode & user adjustable fade/strobe effects.   • Don’t let the petite size of these lights fool you, they pack a powerful punch being more intense than any wash light in their class!   • Milestone Birthday Celebration

    I celebrated my 70th Birthday with fifty of my closest friends from across the country. Being a new year’s baby, I wanted the celebration to be an amazing evening the stimulated all of the human senses. Lights to Love was the perfect events planner to create an euphoric experience I will never forget. The selected events venue was immeasurably enhanced by the use of lighting, floral arrangements, and décor. Chrishaun guided me through every step of planning that resulted in selections, including the caterer and menu, invitations, live music for the cocktail hour and dinner, invitations, as well as hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests. The evening was magical from beginning to the end. It’s been four years since that celebration, and my friends are still commenting about the party that was second to none.

  • Wedding

    Lights to Love was the best decision we made for our wedding planning journey. While lighting design is this company’s niche, they offer so much more. In fact, we ended up selecting Lights to Love as our day-of-wedding coordinator and for planning help for a couple of months leading up to the wedding. This was a great decision, as Chrishaun and her team are absolutely amazing! Chrishaun is so positive, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, responsive, easy going, and organized; working with her was an absolute joy! She led our wedding rehearsal, arrived the day before to help us decorate our venue, was early on the day of the wedding to help prepare everything, and arranged for transportation when our original transportation arrangement cancelled at the last minute. She communicated with all of my other wedding vendors, and everything went very smoothly on the wedding day. We knew that we were in very capable hands with Chrishaun. We cannot recommend Chrishaun enough because she definitely brought light to our love.
